1. Go into Versus mode and select the Player vs. CPU option.
2. Select the character you wish to unlock colors and taunts with, it doesn't matter who your opponent is.
3. Once the round opens up, click Start and then the Character Change option.
4. When you're back on the select screen, you'll have unlocked either a Color or Taunt for the fighter you selected.
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 over and over again to quickly unlock everything for your fighter.
